About

Yu-Ye Liu is a leading figure in the advancement of robotic-assisted neurosurgery, with a primary focus on enhancing the precision and safety of stereotactic procedures. His major contributions center on the clinical translation of robotic systems for intracranial interventions. In a landmark 2021 study, Liu conducted a bulk retrospective analysis of 700 robot-assisted stereotactic biopsies guided by a videometric tracker, demonstrating the technology's high diagnostic yield and low complication rate in a large patient cohort. This work, which has garnered 21 citations, provides crucial evidence for the reliability of frameless robotic biopsies in routine neurosurgical practice.
