About
Wanying He is a leading researcher in the field of neurorehabilitation engineering, with a primary focus on integrating robotics, virtual reality (VR), and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to understand and enhance motor recovery after neurological injury. Her work centers on how multi-sensory feedback—combining force-haptic, visual, and auditory cues during robot-assisted training—can modulate cortical activation in the cognitive and motor networks.
