About
Wang He is a leading figure in industrial robotics, whose work centers on the precise and efficient control of robotic motion. His primary research areas include trajectory planning, kinematic optimization, and the development of smooth, constraint-aware control algorithms for manufacturing automation. He is best known for his seminal 2019 paper, "Smooth point-to-point trajectory planning for industrial robots with kinematical constraints based on high-order polynomial curve," which has garnered over 120 citations. In this work, He introduced a novel method for generating jerk-limited, continuous trajectories that respect real-world actuator limits, significantly improving both the speed and accuracy of robotic pick-and-place operations. This contribution has been widely adopted in assembly lines and CNC machining, bridging the gap between theoretical kinematics and practical industrial deployment. His research continues to shape the next generation of collaborative robots, where safety and fluidity are paramount.
