Tianchen Sun is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of biomedical optics and surgical oncology, whose work is revolutionizing how surgeons identify cancerous tissue in real time. His primary research focuses on developing label-free fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIm) techniques, combined with machine learning, to provide intraoperative guidance during cancer removal surgeries.
