Sreeman Andole is a leading clinical researcher in stroke rehabilitation, whose work has fundamentally shaped how we understand and treat upper limb impairment after stroke. His primary research focus is the comparative effectiveness of robot-assisted training versus enhanced conventional therapy for restoring arm function. Andole is best known as the chief investigator of the landmark RATULS (Robot Assisted Training for the Upper Limb after Stroke) programme, the largest multicentre randomised controlled trial of its kind.
