Sonia Moretti is a leading figure in thyroid cancer biology, with a career dedicated to unraveling the molecular mechanisms of tumor initiation. Her foundational research centers on the RET/PTC rearrangements, which are critical oncogenic drivers in papillary thyroid carcinomas.
