Siddra Qayyum is a rising scholar at the forefront of digital construction and sustainable urban innovation. Her research centers on the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM), the Internet of Things (IoT), and autonomous robotics to revolutionize construction site operations. In her highly cited 2023 work, Qayyum introduced a novel framework combining BIM–IoT with autonomous mobile robots for precise construction site layout printing, directly addressing the costly human errors inherent in traditional manual marking methods.
