About
Shihang Wang is a leading researcher in the field of flexible electronic skin (e-skin) and robotic tactile sensing, with a focus on replicating human haptic perception for intelligent robotics and human–machine interaction. His most notable contribution is the development of a large-area, hand-covering elastomeric e-skin sensor that integrates distributed multifunctional sensing capabilities, enabling robots to detect pressure, shear, and contact forces simultaneously.
