About
Sander van Noort is a researcher whose work sits at the intersection of robotics simulation, sensor modeling, and multi-agent systems. His primary research areas include realistic sensor simulation for rescue robotics, humanoid robot dynamics, and cooperative exploration strategies for robot teams. Van Noort's most significant contribution is his pioneering work on modeling laser range finder behavior in degraded visual environments, such as smoke-filled disaster scenes.
