S. T. Elliott is a planetary scientist whose work has been instrumental in advancing robotic exploration of Mars and the Moon. Their primary research focuses on developing and deploying in-situ instrumentation for surface mineralogy and imaging, with a particular emphasis on X-ray diffraction and fluorescence (XRD/XRF) techniques.
