About
Qingchun Chen is a pioneering researcher in intelligent control systems and bio-inspired robotics. His foundational work on human simulating intelligent control (HSIC) established a novel framework for emulating human motor sensory capabilities in autonomous systems. His most influential paper, “Human simulating intelligent control and its application to swinging-up of cart-pendulum” (2002, 12 citations), demonstrated the universal validity of HSIC theory through theoretical analysis and simulation, providing a new paradigm for nonlinear control problems.
