Prapa Kanagaratnam is a prominent cardiac electrophysiologist whose research has significantly advanced the field of robotic catheter ablation, particularly in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Working at the intersection of interventional cardiology and emerging robotic technologies, Kanagaratnam has been a pioneering figure in evaluating the safety, efficacy, and technical capabilities of remotely steerable catheter systems for cardiac arrhythmia management.
