About
Po-Sheng Ser is a roboticist whose work pushes the boundaries of autonomous systems in extreme environments and intelligent manipulation. He is best known for pioneering "Duckiefloat," a collision-tolerant, resource-constrained blimp designed for long-term autonomy in subterranean settings. Inspired by the DARPA Subterranean Challenge, this work (23 citations) addresses critical challenges in mobility, perception, and communication for search-and-rescue robots, offering a unique low-power, collision-tolerant alternative to traditional aerial platforms.
