About

Dr. Moriba Jah is a leading figure in astrodynamics and space situational awareness, whose work is critical to understanding and preserving the orbital environment. His research focuses on spacecraft navigation, space debris tracking, and the development of autonomous systems for space traffic management. A major contribution is his pioneering work on system identification for spacecraft, where he developed methods to determine actuator alignment through null-motion excitation, a technique that improves spacecraft control without disrupting operations. He is also a visionary behind the "Thinking Telescopes" concept, which aims to create a global, autonomous network for real-time sky surveillance and anomaly detection.
