Kevin Warwick is a pioneering figure in cybernetics, best known for his groundbreaking work in direct neural interfacing and biological-machine hybrids. His research spans artificial intelligence, robotics, and the ethical implications of merging human biology with technology. Warwick’s most celebrated contributions include the first direct electronic communication between two human nervous systems (2004, 66 citations) and the development of a mobile robot controlled by cultured biological neurons (2010, 86 citations).
