About
Karola Dierichs is a pioneering architect and researcher at the forefront of programmable matter and digital fabrication. Her primary research areas include designed granular systems, robotic construction, and performative architectural morphology—a concept she developed that draws from biology to describe material systems capable of adapting to internal constraints and external forces.
