Julien Totems is a research scientist specializing in atmospheric aerosol characterization, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean Basin and Saharan dust transport events. His work integrates ground-based, air-borne, and space-borne lidar observations to unravel the complex spatiotemporal dynamics of aerosols. Totems made a significant contribution through his 2017 study on a moderate Saharan dust event affecting southern Europe, conducted under the ADRIMED/ChArMEx campaign.
