About

Jeong Soo Kim is a pioneering surgeon whose work bridges environmental remote sensing and advanced robotic thyroid surgery. His early research in Earth observation led to the development of a combined dust detection algorithm using MODIS infrared channels over East Asia (2013, 57 citations), a foundational contribution to atmospheric monitoring. However, Kim’s most transformative impact lies in minimally invasive endocrine surgery.
