About
Huihai Wang is a rising researcher at the intersection of human-robot interaction and autonomous logistics, whose work addresses critical challenges in both social robotics and operational efficiency. Wang’s primary research areas include human perceptions of autonomous systems and the optimization of last-mile delivery fleets. In a landmark 2023 study, Wang investigated how incidental encounters with autonomous quadruped robots are perceived by the public, revealing that visual indicators of human control—such as a leash—significantly shape trust and comfort.
