Hoonbae Jeon is a pioneering transplant surgeon whose career has been defined by a singular mission: expanding access to life-saving organ transplantation through innovative robotic surgical techniques. Working primarily at the intersection of minimally invasive surgery and transplantation medicine, Jeon has established himself as a global authority in robotic kidney and liver transplantation. His most transformative contribution has been developing and refining robotic kidney transplantation for morbidly obese patients — a population historically denied transplantation due to surgical risk.
