About
Haidong Li is a leading researcher at the forefront of sustainable energy harvesting and intelligent wearable systems. His work centers on the development of bioinspired and nature-derived triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs), with a specific focus on their integration into electronic skins (e-skins) and human–machine interaction (HMI) technologies. Li’s major contributions include pioneering the use of natural and biomimetic materials to create self-powered, highly sensitive, and biocompatible sensors that address critical challenges in energy supply and device flexibility. His highly cited 2024 review on nature materials-based TENGs (20 citations) and his subsequent work on bioinspired TENGs (11 citations) have collectively shaped the direction of next-generation wearable electronics.
