Gabriele Curci is a leading atmospheric scientist whose research centers on the complex role of aerosols in the Earth’s climate system, with a particular focus on aerosol optical properties and their radiative effects. His major contributions lie in advancing our understanding of single-scattering albedo (SSA)—a critical parameter for estimating aerosol direct radiative forcing.
