About
Farshad Samadi is a robotics researcher whose work focuses on two critical challenges in autonomous systems: humanoid locomotion and vision-based robotic control. His research addresses fundamental problems in making robots walk naturally and interact with their environments through visual feedback. In his 2014 paper on walking pattern generation for humanoid robots, Samadi proposed novel approaches using Zero Moment Point (ZMP)-based methods, including the Linear Inverted Pendulum Mode and Gravity Compensated Inverted Pendulum Mode, to generate more natural walking trajectories.
