About
E. Einhorn is a prominent robotics researcher whose work centers on socially assistive robotics, mobile robot navigation, and human-robot interaction, with a particular focus on deploying autonomous systems in real-world, everyday environments. Einhorn has made landmark contributions through large-scale field trials of service robots, most notably the TOOMAS shopping guide robot — a mobile companion designed for challenging retail environments that has garnered over 160 citations — and a series of influential studies on home companion robots for elderly people suffering from mild cognitive impairment, conducted under the European FP7 CompanionAble project, collectively accumulating hundreds of citations across multiple publications.
