Christian Balkenius is a pioneering Swedish cognitive scientist whose research spans artificial intelligence, cognitive robotics, and computational neuroscience. Over three decades, he has made foundational contributions to understanding how biological intelligence can inform the design of autonomous robotic systems, bridging behavioral neuroscience and machine learning in remarkably productive ways.
