About
Charles Fage is a researcher at the intersection of human-robot interaction and assistive technologies for neurodiverse populations. His work spans two critical domains: the design and evaluation of technology-based interventions for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and the analysis of operator situation awareness in robotic workspaces. Fage’s most impactful contribution is a systematic review examining the effectiveness and usability of technology-based interventions for young people with ASD, focusing on the reliability, consistency, generalization, and durability of intervention effects.
