C. Ayala-Loera is an observational astronomer whose work centers on the characterization of exoplanet atmospheres through precise ground-based photometry. Their major contributions involve pioneering the use of multiple telescopes at the San Pedro Mártir National Observatory to perform multi-filter transit observations, a technique that extracts critical information about the chemical composition and thermal structure of distant worlds.
