Alexander Bruskin is a pioneering figure in the field of robotic-assisted spinal surgery, whose work has fundamentally advanced the precision and safety of spinal implant placement. His research centers on the clinical translation of miniature, bone-mounted robotic systems, most notably the SpineAssist platform, which he helped bring from concept into routine clinical practice. Bruskin’s landmark 2010 multicenter study, cited over 400 times, provided the first large-scale validation of robotically guided pedicle screw insertion, demonstrating high clinical acceptance and accuracy.
