Aleksandar M. Diamond‐Stanic is a leading figure in extragalactic astrophysics, renowned for pioneering robotic reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei (AGN). His research focuses on understanding the structure and dynamics of accretion flows around supermassive black holes, particularly in broad-line radio galaxies. Diamond‐Stanic’s major contribution lies in leveraging global robotic telescope networks, such as the Las Cumbres Observatory, to conduct high-cadence, long-duration photometric and spectroscopic monitoring campaigns.
