Dr. Abdulla Abbas is a structural biologist whose research centers on elucidating the three-dimensional structures of proteins, with a particular focus on those from extremophilic organisms. His major contribution lies in advancing the methodology of X-ray crystallography, specifically demonstrating the power of the single-wavelength anomalous dispersion (SAD) technique using a chromium X-ray source.
