About

A. Washuettl is a key figure in the development of fully autonomous, robotic astronomical observatories. Their primary research focus lies in stellar activity and the engineering of automated telescope systems designed for long-term, high-cadence monitoring. Washuettl’s most significant contribution is the conception and realization of the STELLA (STELLar Activity) robotic observatory, located at the Teide Observatory in Tenerife, Spain.
