About
A. Fitzsimmons is a leading astronomer whose research focuses on cometary activity, interstellar objects, and exoplanetary science. A key contributor to the SuperWASP project, a pioneering robotic survey for planetary transits, Fitzsimmons helped lay the groundwork for large-scale exoplanet detection. Their work on comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko, capturing its perihelion activity from Earth using robotic telescopes, provided critical context for the Rosetta mission.
