Dr. Tan X is a pioneering hepatopancreatobiliary surgeon whose research focuses on advancing robotic surgery for complex abdominal malignancies. His major contributions center on developing and standardizing minimally invasive techniques for pancreatic and liver cancers, particularly demonstrating that robotic approaches can match or exceed outcomes of traditional open and laparoscopic methods.
