John A. Parrish is a pioneering figure in dermatology and biomedical optics, whose visionary work has fundamentally reshaped the interface between medicine and technology. His research primarily focuses on photomedicine, laser therapy, and the development of minimally invasive medical technologies. As a co-founder of the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital—the world’s largest academic research center dedicated to light-based therapies—Parrish’s contributions have been transformative.
