Jacopo Carpaneto is a pioneering biomedical engineer whose research sits at the intersection of neural interfaces, neuroprosthetics, and human-robot interaction. His work has fundamentally advanced how the human nervous system can communicate with robotic and prosthetic devices, with a particular focus on restoring lost sensorimotor function to individuals with limb amputations and motor disabilities.
