Dr. J.-J. Morcrette is a leading figure in aerosol and dust forecasting, whose work has been instrumental in advancing global operational aerosol prediction. His primary research focuses on the development and evaluation of multi-model ensemble systems for aerosol forecasting, with a particular emphasis on mineral dust transport. Dr. Morcrette’s major contribution is his foundational role in the International Cooperative for Aerosol Prediction (ICAP) Multi-Model Ensemble (MME).
