Hyeong Bin Rheem is pioneering the frontier of nanobiohybrids—living cells augmented with synthetic components to create programmable, semi-artificial organisms. His research centers on cell-surface engineering, chemotactic control, and the construction of artificial organelles, with a clear vision for next-generation cell therapies, biocatalysis, and cell robotics.
