Gregory A. Formosa is a pioneering robotics and medical device researcher whose work sits at the cutting edge of autonomous robotic endoscopy and minimally invasive surgical systems. His research focuses on the design, sensing, control, and autonomous navigation of robotic capsule endoscopes (RCEs), with a particular emphasis on transforming colonoscopy procedures through intelligent automation.
