About
En Ren is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of microrobotics, biomedical engineering, and targeted cancer therapy. Their work focuses on developing miniaturized robotic tools and bio-hybrid systems capable of navigating the complex, hard-to-reach environments of the human body for minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment. A major contribution is the creation of water-stable magnetic lipiodol micro-droplets, a novel formulation that serves as a miniaturized robotic tool for drug delivery, addressing critical challenges of biocompatibility, precise control, and intelligent tracking in clinical microrobotics. This work has already garnered 18 citations since its 2024 publication. Ren has also advanced the field of bio-hybrid magnetic robots, engineering systems that combine desirable locomotion with full biocompatibility for targeted therapy, earning 12 citations. Additionally, their exploration of precision interventional brachytherapy offers a promising strategy for treating malignant tumors by integrating radiotherapy with computer network technology. With a growing citation impact, En Ren’s research is shaping the future of smart, biocompatible microrobots for interventional medicine.
