A. Cristaldi is a volcanologist and roboticist whose work bridges the gap between hazardous fieldwork and cutting-edge technology. A pioneer in robotic volcano exploration, Cristaldi led the development of the ROBOVOLC system, a six-wheeled robotic rover designed to collect rock samples, deploy sensors, and measure gas emissions in dangerous volcanic environments.
