Abstract
Interaction with semi-autonomous multi-robot systems requires the integration of technical, task-related, and user-oriented details. While basic design principles for user interfaces already exist, they are not yet tailored to the specific case of multi-robot systems. This work shows how a design process tailored to multi-robot systems can be based on basic design principles and describes this by means of an example. In doing so, it is indicated that virtual reality (VR) can be used as an instrument for conveying situational awareness.
