Abstract

The employing of wireless sensor networks in home automation (WSNHA) is inviting because of their characteristics of high sensing, self-organization, low cost and potential for rapid deployment. Today households becomes automated thus easiness is provided and time spent on house housework is minimized. Vacuum cleaners have helped home cleaning easier, but they are noisy and cumbersome for continuous use. Thus, we present a demonstration model of a compact and effective vacuum cleaner for office, public places and home use. In this study, it has been investigated how a smart vacuum cleaner will move and how it will map. And as a prototype, a robot that can navigate autonomously in its environment has been designed and implemented.
