Abstract
In a natural disaster, it is often necessary to have an autonomous system capable of moving in an irregular and unpredictable area. This paper proposes a robot that is mechanically capable of moving in a disaster area and equipped with a navigation using behavior-based systems. Its mechanical, electronic and computing systems are described. The development of the primitive behavior that has been made is explained in detail. Several experiments have been carried out to show the performance of the proposed robotic systems.
