Abstract
This paper shares the authors approach and experience in conducting a new laboratory for bioengineering undergraduates, suitable for remote working (supervising and students' activity), imposed by pandemic. The laboratory was conceived as project oriented, with the intent of offering the students a practical engineering approach, focused on software development while working from home. We assigned them a motivational project goal - to create software application aiding in arm rehabilitation as requested by a team of therapists. We introduced the students to a quasi-professional approach, guiding and assisting them through the main stages of general software development, applied for the given scenario, also having a simple hardware platform at their disposal.The paper presents the authors approach, along with relevant aspects of the application.
