Abstract

The object of research are agent-based metacomputer systems for data and knowledge processing in distributed database systems. A metacomputer is a virtual system with a predetermined architecture deployed on a global or local computer network. The agents are considered as autonomous virtual software robots that are located on a computer network and execute the user instructions. The subject of the study is all about the processes of managing the relational databases processing in metacomputers based on the architecture of a logical ring. The objectives of this article is to describe the implementation of segment processing of a cyclic relational database in a metacomputer environment focused on network agents. The computer network's logical ring of nodes forms a very large distributed database management system (DBMS).
