Application of DELMIA in programming of robotic resistance spot welding work station for BIW

Abstract

Experience insufficiency is the largest problem in programming of robotic resistance spot welding work station for BIW.It provides the application of simulation software DELMIA,which can solve the designer's experience insufficiency in a large extent,and this software can also enhance the design efficiency and quality.DELMIA can be used in the whole process of work station design.This process comprise the choosing of robot's quantity and location,the choosing of robot's style,conception designing of robotic spot welding gun,the simulation and validation of robot's whole work process,offline programming,and so on.
