Abstract
Results of the development of the construction and forced control circuit of an electromechanical brake unit (EMBU) are described. An algorithm for the computation of optimal parameters of the suggested circuit is given. Computer models of the mechanical and electrical parts of the EMBU are created, with the help of which the investigations on the influence of various factors on the performance characteristics of an asynchronous electric motor with a built-in EMBU are conducted in start-up and shutdown modes.
