Abstract
The paralysis of the hands is one of the most challenging aspects of stroke recovery. Stroke ranks second among all causes of death and disability worldwide. Stroke survivors sometimes face a wide range of difficulties as a result of their lingering physical and cognitive deficits. As a result of being unable to use the damaged side of their body for even the most fundamental tasks, stroke victims often find themselves suddenly dependent on others. We develop a smart glove or robotic hand to measure and enhance hand mobility and range of motion. In this case, we're keeping an eye on the ROM with the use of sensors, servomotors, an Arduino UNO, and 2.2k ohm resistors. A flex sensor is a sort of variable resistor used to measure the bending and straightening of individual fingers. The amount of pressure exerted on each fingertip while an object is held can be calculated using a Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR). We may compare the hand movements and range of motion of healthy individuals to those of partially paralyzed individuals by integrating hardware with the Arduino software.
