Abstract

This chapter speaks about the transformative potential of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics in dentistry, with clear objectives and outcomes outlined. The primary objective is to assess the scientific contributions of this integration. Through a meticulous literature review and methodology, the research identifies three key contributions. Firstly, it reveals a substantial increase in diagnostic accuracy by leveraging the collaborative synergy of AI-driven predictive modeling and human expertise. Secondly, demonstrates a paradigm shift in healthcare accessibility and efficiency by decentralizing the treatment process through AI-enabled remote care. Lastly, it introduces dental educational robotics in university settings, offering a pioneering approach to overcoming resistance and fostering the acceptance of robotic systems among future dental professionals. These scientific contributions signify a pivotal step towards a more precise, efficient, and accessible dental healthcare system, positioning AI and robotics at the forefront of dentistry's evolution.
