Abstract
With the aging of China's population and the improvement of people's living conditions, the number of disabled patients due to strokes is increasing, and the existing rehabilitation medical resources in China are difficult to meet the current needs. Traditional rehabilitation methods are inefficient, labor intensive, and lack systematic and effective assessment. Rehabilitation robots provide a new way to rehabilitate these patients. The structure of the rehabilitation robot and the design of the control system provide technical means for the rehabilitation of these patients. The design of rehabilitation robots involves many aspects of mechanics, electronics, medicine, computer technology, etc. Currently, rehabilitation robots faces many difficulties and challenges. This paper introduces the current research status of domestic and foreign rehabilitation robots, and analyzes the challenges and development opportunities, and looks forward to the future of rehabilitation robots, providing some research and development for future rehabilitation robots and intelligent auxiliary systems.
